It is not surprising, considering the popularity of G&S, especially in the 20's and 30's, that the British pottery industry produced a considerable number of pieces of ceramic memorabilia. These range from decorative fancies , through tiles and mugs, to ordinary domestic tableware. We will also include here other three-dimensional souvenirs, as we find them.

LUCIEN BOULLEMIER JUG

An important, and probably unique jug, hand-painted by Lucien Emile Boullemier in the mid to late 1920s, commemorating his own appearance as Shadbolt in The Yeomen of the Guard. Boullemier was one of the top ceramic designers of the period, most famous for his work at the Maling factory in Newcastle. price reduced
